Khepri Consultancy was founded on a simple belief: talented educators should not be held back by curriculum transitions. Many ESL-trained teachers bring exceptional pedagogy, cultural responsiveness, and classroom energy, yet feel unprepared for the content demands of BC subject-teaching roles.

We bridge that gap with personalised mentoring, practical professional development, peer learning circles, and career branding support. Our programmes are designed by educators, for educators.

Deirdre Weary

Founder & Lead Consultant

Deirdre is an experienced international educator with a deep understanding of BC curriculum, ESL pedagogy, and the realities of teaching in offshore schools. She founded Khepri Consultancy to provide the kind of practical, compassionate guidance she wished she had during her own cross-curricular transition.

Her approach combines classroom-tested strategies with a genuine commitment to each teacher’s professional growth and wellbeing.

    The Spark

    Founder Deirdre Weary identified a growing gap between ESL-trained teachers and the subject-teaching expectations of BC offshore schools.
